Management Accounts Assistant
When I joined in 2008, I was given the opportunity the work part time with a shift pattern that was really flexible. This was very handy for me as I was studying full-time and needed a job that fitted around my studies. I was even given time off to study for my exams.
I started as a grade 3 production operator and worked my way up to grade 1 Machine Operator position on Line 8 – what we call the Crispy Line – and I was allowed to do extra shifts to support myself through my degree. It’s really very interesting and complicated, and requires lots of highly skilled staff. Now I’ve moved into the accounts department – with so many opportunities to progress, who knows where I might end up?
I’ve found it’s a really friendly environment to work in. Everyone here is working in a company with a good reputation and well-known established name in the UK market, so it’s a wonderful opportunity to use our skill and knowledge to play our part in a fast-growing organisation.
