I joined in 2011 as an admin temp for two weeks, just to earn a bit of cash before I started a permanent job. I was then offered to stay on in a temporary role assisting the buying team. I took the risk to turn down my permanent job and stay in the hope something would come up as it felt a good place to work. I’m delighted to say I’ve been proved right!
In 2012 I was offered the role of Development Account Manager. The company recognised my skills and felt I would be suited to the role. I feel they took a risk with me as I had no food qualifications, but I’ve been given plenty of support and training throughout my development. I now manage projects from concept to launch ensuring products meet cost requirements, and do everything possible for a smooth successful launch.
For me, the best thing about working here is definitely the people. Everyone is so friendly and always pull together as a team to help out where possible. I enjoy having the support from so many people and knowing they have my back.
