Shift: Monday to Friday, 6am – 6pm

We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join our Despatch team at Fletchers in Sheffield.
Finsbury Food Group is a leading speciality bakery manufacturer. We constantly raise quality and efficiency standards and build long-term relationships within the foodservice channel. Finsbury offers a wide range of bakery products and is a leading frozen supplier into the foodservice sector.
The Warehouse Operative role will play a key role in ensuring products are accurately picked, assembled and despatched to our customers. Working as part of a fast-paced operational team, you’ll help maintain high standards of quality, food safety and service while ensuring customer orders are completed accurately and on time
This is what you’ll actually do!
As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll be responsible for ensuring products are correctly assembled, handled and prepared for despatch. You’ll receive and manage stock, assemble customer orders, complete stock checks and support stock-taking activities to help maintain accurate inventory levels.
You’ll be responsible for rotating stock correctly, loading products in line with operational procedures and ensuring all despatch activities are completed safely and efficiently. Attention to detail will be essential as you’ll be working to quality and customer service standards while helping the team achieve daily targets.
Working closely with colleagues across the operation, you’ll follow established procedures relating to food safety, hygiene, quality and health & safety, helping to maintain a clean, safe and compliant working environment.

• Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Good communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
• Good numerical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain high quality standards
• Previous experience in a warehouse, despatch or manufacturing environment would be advantageous
• Food hygiene, manual handling, FLT or PPT experience would be beneficial, but full training can be provid
