You had a lot of options, what stood out about our Finance graduate scheme?
“I was particularly interested in the Finsbury Finance Scheme because it offered the opportunity to work in 3 different roles in different locations, I also thought that having experienced a variety of roles I would feel more well-rounded at the end of the graduate scheme.
How did you find the interview process?
‘’Of course I was nervous going into the interview, however I found everyone there very easy to talk to which helped me relax. Finsbury set realistic expectations for what the interview was going to be like, which also helped.’’
How have we helped you grow your career so far?
‘”Finsbury are supporting me through the CIMA Finance Leadership Program which I’ve found to be very flexible and means that I can study at my own pace. My manager is also always happy to help when I am struggling with something or have a question, everyone who I have worked with has been eager to support my development and help where possible.’’
The world of Food Manufacturing & Engineering is a unique one, what’s surprised you the most about our industry?
‘’It’s very fast paced, which to me is very interesting and exciting. You also do not realise how much can actually impact the food industry, from bad weather to Brexit.’’
What advice would you give to someone considering joining our Finsbury Finance program?
“It’s an amazing scheme and provides so many opportunities to learn and get a variety of different experiences. Make the most out of every role you are in, get to know everybody and ask questions.”
